I just heard Novation was showing a Supernova keyboard at Messe. Does anyone have any information? Any news on any other upgrades for the SN besides OS3?

I saw it, I saw it...at Frankfurt! It was covered under
glass and it seems it's just a prototype. I didn't see
any outputs at the back of the keyboard :-)

I don't think it had more knobs, but the controls for
the envelopes were faders, which I think is cool.
And by the way, it looks great.. go and check it
out for yourself, I think you live in Frankfurt...

Martin

picture is online
http://www.studiodedijk.nl/FF11.htm

i count roughly 40 knobs compared to rack version's 28. maybe the keyboard version does have more features.

looks like same size display; not sure.

looks like 57 note (5 octave) keyboard.

The prototype on display at Frankfurt was merely a prototype intended to show what a SuperNova Keyboard version COULD look like were it to be developed.

Novation are currently investigating the demand for such an instrument. If you're keen to see such a machine appearing, let Novation know !

I want one... but then again... I don't need a rack-version AND a keyboard-version... but since I am selling my only keyboard left (SY99), I need a new keyboard... soon... most likely this will be a K5000S... If I still can get one.

Mickey.

Any word on when we might see a Kbd supernova? I'd prefer that to the waldorf Q but not if I'm going to be waiting 'til next year.

If you make one, make sure that you put a ribbon controller on it (or even an XY pad if you know what I mean).

I'd love one, but as I've already got the SN...
