hi there,

I wrote the article "drumstation playing wrong" a few months ago.

Today I still have the same problem. I really have a new drumstation with a new power supply -my second DS but there is still the same problem:

The base together with other sounds especially claps or hats cause a "killing" of the base sound - just clicking! Especially if the polyphony is more the 3 or 4.
I really tried all - I put the note off rec to "ignored" with all sound - this sometimes fixes the problem - but not everytime!
Itīs really hard working with a DS causing this problem ever and ever again.
My Version is 1.3 and I have the new 600mA power supply.
I realized that many others seem to have similar problems.
Iīm using Cubase not Cakewalk - so it canīt be a problem with the "Virtual Piano", I also donīt have doubled notes in my arrangements!
So what the hell is wrong with the DS - Phil???

Thanx for help!

Please send me a midi file of the drum track...

Send it to sales@novation uk.com

I will then look into it.
