I've just bought a BassStation Rack and can't get it to trigger from my pc sequencer (I've tried Evolution and Cubase). When I swap the midi out leads and trigger the bassStation from my controller keyboard it works fine. I think I need something like a mixermap for Windows (I'm using 95) so that the midi out info is understood by the bassStation. There is definitely midi information coming out of the pc and I've tried swapping leads and all that!
cheers for any help.

Hi it may be a problem with the strength of the midi signal comming out of your pc. Midi has a very exact frequency and if your pc is sending out messages that are slightly out some synths don't like it. Try routing it through another piece of kit that responds to your pc and this should amplify the signal some what.
