Can somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong if I try to download the OS version 3 Beta3.mid 312K file !!!
Because my computer says when I almost
ready downloading the file that there is a problem whit quicktime !!!! En the
connection whit the net will be broken

It sounds like you are downloading the midi file from a browser, and your browser is configured to translate downloaded '.mid' files.

You need to disable the Quicktime helper app for .mid files in your browser. If you are using Netscape, go to the preferences menu. Go to the category Navigator, and the sub-category Applications. On the list that is displayed, find the items that correspond to Quicktime. Disable these (temporarily) and save your settings.

Now if you try to download the OS again, A dialog should ask you if you want to save the file (say yes).

After you have the file,0 you can go back to the application preferences and restore quicktime.

The procedure should be similar for Internet Explorer.
