Looking for advice on using compression. Do people on the list have separate compressors on each of the nova/supernova outputs, a single compressor on the lot, or does anyone use a multiband compressor like the dbx quantum ?

Any views, help deeply appreciated.

Cheers

I use Acp88 (PreSonus) on main outputs - helps to make the sounds clearer and punchier (the SN can somtimes sound dull). I also use the BBE 462 to clarify the details even more and to get a better buttom end, along with compression.
But the best one is to route the supernova through an analog filter - it does the job even better.
I use the Quantum to compress the whole mix - a great piece of machine.
