Does anyone know how to create those phat vocode-like bass sounds used by guys like ed rush and optical with the Nova? I've tried everything I have come to think of but I just can't seem to get it right. Anyone?

I think I got it now. Just use the vocoder with two bass sounds, one as modulator and the other as carrier, tweak a little and - Voila! What have we got if not some Ed Rush and Optical.

no doubt the same thing was said about the 'analog' synth sound back in the 80s.
(can you say, access, novation, waldorf, nord, roland, korg, quasimidi)
