is there a way on the sn i can set up a monophonic sound that uses all the available ocillators in one huge layer.... if you know what i mean?

not in programm mode, but there are several multimode-performances prepared for that use. In an 8 part performance you have up to 24 oscs, 16 ring mods and 8 (huh?) noise generators.
