Just bought a Supernova and am having a couple of problems using it with Digital Performer. While the Supernova works fine when triggering it directly from a keyboard controller, it causes MIDI feedback loops when played via Digital Performer. I was able to get around this somewhat by using my MTP AV to mute all MIDI data coming OUT of the Supernova, but is there a way to fix it in the Supernova itself? Also, when setting the Supernova's MIDI clock to external and feeding it a clock from Digital Performer, the arpeggiated sounds don't play correctly and changing the tempo in Digital Performer works inconsistently.

My setup:
PowerMac 9600/200
OS 8.6
DP 2.6.1
Suupernova OS 3.0

Anybody been in and solved this situation? Any help is appreciated.

Michael

Hi Michael,

Simply turn Local off in the Global parameters. Don't forget to save this setting by hitting the write button otherwise, it'll be lost the next time you power on the SN.
