YOU CAN GET A BRAND NEW KORG PROPHECY NOW FOR
700 NICKER BRAND NEW.ANYONE OUT THERE OWN ONE?
HOW DOES IT FARE AGAINST MY CURRENT SYNTH A CS1X
HOW MANY SOUNDS ETC. IS IT ANY GOOD FOR PRODUCING
TECHNO STYLE DANCE??

well, I've had a play around with one, and it seems to have alot of sounds that are in the wavestation sr rack....but the Prophesy has resonant filters and about 4 or 5 dedicated control knobs.....bare in mind, that if you are planning to use it with a sequencer for creating tracks, that it only plays one sound....it is mono-timbrel.....so really, it is a live or studio lead players synth, with lots of analog sounding stuff with realtime control...but only one sound.
