what it looks like, but judging by the specs it should be one mad machine. I have an idea Yamaha are releasing
this to compete with Akai's MPC2000 and Ensoniq's ASRX. They should be able to out-do these two... Here are
some of the specs- Up to 64mb of ram, 64 voices, SCSI, multiple outputs, adjustable data
format (8, 12 or 16 bit which should be great for emulating the sound of old grungey samplers like the S900),
an onboard AWM2 tone generator (synth), a ribbon controller and lots more. More info later...
