I just found out: MY SAMPLER USES SAMPLES!!!!

p.s. there is a rumour floating around that all vintage Roland synths like the TB-303, 909, and Juno's are all sample based!!!

I SMELL CONSPIRACY!!!

WHAT THE �&%/ IS UP WITH HAMMERHEAD ??????

Brams Site is dead, you can only read about
something called R.A.C.E. and that�s all.

Maybe D-Lusion (H30+), ZAP (Stomper) and BramBos
(HH) are working together now on a new
Physical Modelling Project
called "the R.A.C.E"

anybody knows anything new ?

(and does it work with Digital Audio Files at all? )

er.......hammerhead never claimed to be a physical modelling synth......lookit.....it's just a sample playback deveice.......you could do the same thing with SAWplus say, or the audio tracks in Cakewalk.......except it woukld take a bit longer

I know they reccommend having a Pentium, but I have a 486, it doesn't seem to work very well. Is anybody else having problems with the 486.

Indeed, it locks up when you're trying to use more than 4 channels;
also on my 486 100MHZ with 24MEG.
I guess the code word is Pentium here...

breakbeats in the bank... if you know how
to make these using analogue modelling, I think
you will be made lead-engineer at Roland's...

And let me break your bubble: even the TR-909
is partly sample-based (not completely, but...)

agreed....... it's a great code..... I just think Bram could have capitalised on his design without selling it out....... still........ let's wait and see what the final release does...... meantimes, I have to say, that if you can live without a trendy retro front end, the Making Waves programme is much much more versatile........
