Subject: DMan VS Gold

Alright, I'm in the market for an inexpensive sound card for PC and
I've sorta narrowed it down to two. Both the Midiman DMan and the
AWE 64 Gold can be had here in the states for around 2 bills. My main
concern is getting digital audio in and out of a Dat, but I wouldn't
mind having better computer sound as well. As I understand it, the
Gold has a midi source and the DMan can add one, so really wondering
if their digital audio capabilities are similar? I hope to eventually
get a card with ADAT lightpipe jack, so would one of these cards be
better for overall upgrading from my crap card that came with the PC?
Mainly, is the DMan card considerably better digital sound
to justify paying around the same price and not getting the midi
sound source that's in the Gold?
