????? Well I'll tell you about both even if there's no question. DAT's are CD quality or better. Minidisks aren't CD quality and have compression which take clips of the music out and you can hear the compression. Minidisks are not professional. There as professional as cassettes, which is not pro at all. DATS ARE COOL. 'nough said

actually, apart from the compression, dat's work the same...they leave out chunks as well....
