Is there any software available for th Emu esi-32,
like MESA for akai samplers, that let you control
your sampler on the screen and let you transfer
PCM data in both direction via SCSI on a PC.
(Puh, long sentence)@)

Thanks /Bob

You can try Recycle by Steinberg. This works as I have
it running on my pc via scsi.

Can you really control all parameters on the esi-32
with recycle?

no........you'd need an editor for the ESI , and a sample converter for EMU samples to .WAV for editing......

And I haven't seen anything like that out there....
You can do a lot of nice things with Recycle however.
extract sounds, replace individual sounds in loops,
change the tempo, pitch without affecting the other,
quantize loops etc etc
It's much nicer working with a waveform too.

Isn't a pc-editor included when buying the new esi
operating system?
