I am interested in purchasing a workstation. I'm farely new to creating Techno but I have been collecting records for a while and have been into the music in general for almost five years. My friend is getting me a great deal on the novation Drumstation and I'll obviosly need more than that. I am only interested in creating techno(house,acid,minimal,etc.) What would be good a good purchase? I plan on using my purchase for some time. thank you for your time.

There's a new Yamaha machine coming out called the SU700. It should pretty much do everything. I don't know when it will be available though, but will include sampling , sequencing, a synth etc, etc...
