Subject: RY-30 and General MIDI

- Hi!
I have a RY-30 rythm programmer and I would like to use it to play the drum part (from canal 10) of General
MIDI files. The RY-30 came with 4 default voice-note assignment tables but none of these correspond to the
general MIDI voice-note assignment. It is possible to change the voice-note assignments of each of the four
table, so I would like to define one the table as the GM one. My problem is that when I look at the names of the
default voices in the RY-30 I do not recognize the General MIDI voice names. It would be nice if somebody
could explain me how to use my RY-30 to play the drum part of GENERAL MIDI files. Thank you.
