Is the ASR-X any good? How does it compare to the MPC's? How good is the sequencer? Can it be used for breakbeat/drum'n'bass/chemical stuff? Can you reverse, loop, cut-copy-n-paste etc... samples? Can you use real-time modification like cutoff and ressonance? Is the scratch-pad realistic? Is it midi? Has it got a tap-button like the groovebox, to synch it to cd's etc? Etc, etc...
TNX!

the seq is a joke, there's a digital delay when you unmute trax etc. (it might be upgraded in future versions) the filters and efx are brilliant, but you cant cut copy and paste which in my opinion is the greatest and the most powerful tools in a sampler and necessity for brakez, if you hook up with a sample editor you could solved that problem, but it seam like you got the dosh so just wait till november and you will see a new cowboy in town darad daddara da = SU700 Þ)

I got the MPC3000 and although you can cut and paste quite well, it can be a bit tricky without any waveform editing. The MPC2000 has waveform editing and the sequencing on MPCs is the best. The Yamaha SU700 should be out later this month, so I've heard from Yamaha, so check that out, Yamaha gear is real nice.
