hehehe....so I walked into this fuckin' cheese-ass tent mega-sale thing at the local dj shop, and there sittin' on the table's a brand new Novation DrumStation for $300, pretty good 'cause they list $800 out here.

So I'm about to shit my pants over this deal (admittedly nowhere near Avene's MiniMoog, but....) and I take a breath, calm down, and ask for a better deal. $250 later its mine. hehe

Tascam M3700? Well, I used to have the MCI 24-4 that Roberta Flack recorded "KKKilling Me Softly" on which had better eq's, better pre's, and a better feel, and turn around for about $2000. But the Tascam's quieter.

What version of drumstation was it?
Lots of places are doing cheap deals on version 1 because it's outputs are to wimpy and you get lots of hum. The V2 has 3 dB hotter outputs.
