Today I read an ad, someone was selling an s-330
for 18,000 Belgian francs. The ews64 costs
22,000. So buying the s330 would save me 4,000 ,
about $150. Is it worthwile? Is there an internal
seq and is it any good, good enough to use on
its own without a computer?
If it is, I also wouldn't have to buy a computer
(my dad's already got a 200MMX, butI want to make
music in my room...) so I'd save a LOT of money.
But is it really worth it?
I hear the Liam Howlett uses it, so it should be
pretty fuckin' ace.
Has it got an internal synthesiser, and what does
it sound like? What samples should I listen
to on any of the Prodigy's albums (got'em all),
to get an idea?
Any help greatly appreciated...

One meg of ram, right? That doesn't sound like an awfull
lot...
What I need to know is:
Is this machine good enough to create chemical/breakbeat/hiphop stuff, and do live shows
without long delays loading samples from disks...
Oh, and I now don't think it's got a seq, after reading
the review at the budget section... Yet the ad clearly
sais "Sampler ROLAND avec séq intégré", which is French
for "Sampler ROLAND with integrated sequencer".
Maybe I get an extra external hardware sequencer for the same price, which would be cool!
