I will soon get me an used esi-32.
Should I get a s/h harddrive or a scsi zip drive to use with it? With the zip, backup will be simple, but does it work good with the esi, and how's the loading times compared to a harddrive?

zip's and jazz are fast enuff.....I'd say get an external unit...BUT... check out the new Syquest drives..... they've been kinda eclipsed by Iomega over the last year or two, but are fighting back with bigger capacity units for less dosh.... and the carts are easier to get hold of.....
