I'm thinking of upgrading my RAM from 32 to 64. If my motherboard supports SDRAM is that what I should get (ie vs EDO DRAM). What kind of ns time is adequate for doing hard disk recording, etc.

yup....go for it... but it's alot more expensive.... sdram is 6 X faster than edo.....
