Wave Surgeon does stereo files when registered, Recycle doesn't. Recycle automatically assigns the cut pieces within the sampler, and is also a file convertor, which is worth $75-100 right there.

I've never had any troubles to load stereo files in recycle? ...

Recycle only works on mono samples(though a good
sampler can convert a mono sample to stereo.
Also,recycle can transmit and receive samples via
scsi,can wavesurgeon? This means no loss in sound
quality.

'course, I still haven't gotten my k2000 to actually work over scsi, with either Recycle or Sound Forge. Any tips?

Well SCSI is a temperemental bitch,just like my missus
The EMU offical site has a really good guide to SCSI
on it's official web site which would be just as valid
for a k2000.Check it out!!
