Im looking for a freeware or cheap program that will allow me to transfer Akai s2000 samples to wav. files then back to S2000 format.
Ive tried Akai Disk 2.2 and it works in dos but not in win 95, however it says it should run in 95.
The message akaidisk exe. is not found appears.
Can anyone help or advise another program.
(ive download the progam from various places but still with no joy)

maybe, it works in Win 95, if dos is NOT also installed on your machine....

Have you tried Resample Pro?

I've heard something about a new operating sys. for the AKAI-s2000. I think you can download it on AKAI's site. With the new operating sys you can run MESA for windows and transfer samples that way.

yup...... get the mesa s/w..... it'll do it....... pc version available.... there's a direct link to the download page in the samplers section here
