I just got this sweet machine and did not see much on it on the net so this is a chat for people who use / want to know about the MPC 2000.

I've got one too. Only had it for about two months, tho,
but I already know it kicks serious ass. I've created some
awesome breaks with it. I could use an analog synth, but I
am all out of money... Anybody willing to give away a
synth for free, contact me...
(can't blame me for trying, can you?)

It has neat go to locaters so you dont have to scroll
when creating breaks without quantizing. I find truly
funky breaks need to be off alittle from 16th or 32nd.
