Probably the wrong place for this query, but I have a PB 5300 and want to compose/record using a minimum of external hardware. As I understand, QuickTime 2.5+ kind of abrogates the need for "sound cards" etc... Correct?
Also, is there shareware like Making Waves avail for the Mac?. It looks damn fine.
Why do people insist on writing for PCs only when Macs are just plain better? *sigh*
