I local techie told me that timbralness has to do with sequencers -- if you have 2 parts multitimbrality, then your synth can have 2 different tracks in a song that's running off of your sequencer. Is this true?
(I hope that's decipherable...I haven't been that articulate lately.)
Thanks,
Brad

mutti-timbral capability it can play upto 16 parts at once.
Obviously you need a sequencer to be able to do this.
The waldorf pulse is a monophonic analogue synth
module,it has 3 oscillators,2 lfos an arpeggiator. It can
only play one note at any one time. If you want a big
fat sound it's your synth though.

the waldorf is mono-timbrel...only 1 sound on one channel......... and it's monophonic....... no chords.......

Now, I understand monophonic. But monotimbrel (spelling?) means 1 sound per midi channel??? Or simply, 1 sound per machine (if recorded to a sequencer)? Or, am I confusing the issue????
THanks as always!!!!!
