Finaly Creative Labs seem to have gotten their act together.
The new Sound Blaster Live has been in development
for a while now and should be released by
July/August.
Check this out, it features the same chipset found inside the EMU Darwin and E4k,.,cooooll
,.,droool ,.,.excuse me for getting a tad excited,
but with an entry level price about the same as the Gold's when it was first launched.
The card feature 8 analog outs for a multimedia
experience wich has been named "enviromental audio". Hopefuly us audio perves will be able to use the 8 out for routing purposes.
It will come standard with SPDIF I/O and optional
upgrades for added Digital I/O and an optional AC3 Decoder.
Whats more you have a card with a gross ammount of
onboard processing power, just hope they develop
ASIO drivers for it.
That's All For Now
