I would like to know if anyone is using the
Zoom 9010.

What are its capabilities? Are the effects
any good? How old is it? What are its pros
and cons?

Rate it on a scale of 1 to 5.

Thanks for your time.

After posting on some other lists, and calling a few studios for opinions, I ended up getting the 9010 used. $100 US.

For those interested, it's a 4in 4out 1 rack unit with all the usual effects including EQ, Auto Wah, Pitch Shifter, Compressor/Limiter/Gate, Distortion, and an Amp Simulator.
It's not as flexible as 4ch units of today but, it's fairly easy to use. It gives you 4 types of routing configurations which can do 2-3mono in and out with the 3rd or 4th in being outputed in stereo, to using it as a single processor. The reverbs are clean enough, and the phasor & flanger hold their own. You can even do real-time changes with midi controllers and note on velocity. Sysex is supported as well.

I'd rate it a 3 out of 5 if it was new, and 5 out 5 if it's used.

If you find one, and you're on a tight budget, pick it up. It might be all you need.
