Since you have the ASRX, maybe you could
answer me some questions.
1. I was read ALL the reviews. I was play with
it for hours at a music store. I was scan really
deep in the filters section, FX, and sequencer,
and I was end thinking itīs the best machine for me
in this price range....so......why all the people
(with the only exception of you and me) are
saying the thing is CRAP??? Is the OS unreliable
or what? The MPC canīt be better than this
machine, Iīm shure........
2. Can you tell me about the Ensoniq transwave
modulation of the ASRX?
Is this a kind of wave spectra interpolation?
If yes:
How many waves can be interpolated?
This waves can be looped while you interpolates
them?
How long can be those waves?
Can you interpolates betwen the waves in real
time with a MIDI controller (Mod wheel and the
like) or program a synthesis controller such an
EG or LFO?

THANKS A LOT

Dan

The ASR-X does not do transwaves. The ASR-10 does it but not very well. Transwaves were developed by Ensoniq for their syths like the TS and KT series. If you want to know more, check out:

http://www.transoniq.com/

This is a subscription magazine that is totally dedicated to Ensoniq products. There is also a chat area similar to this one called the Interface at the same location.
