Anyone know if you can trigger notes with a sustain pedal for realistic drum programming?

it depends on the kindda trigger you have
Some responds to voltage, some to midi ,etc.
Please be more specific

I mean a voltage pedal, though I might be willing to get a midi pedal if it would work. In addition, I'm using a k2000rs with later os, so drum triggers can be input through the sample input. Could I use my pedal into here?
