looking to chat on variuos aspects of card and pc and hardware setups. For a start you will almost certainly need to update Quartzaudiomaster to version 2 around 60 quid; you may need to get Cool Edit to do sampling and you will want to add extra Ram to the card to have a bigger library loaded up when your working. The audio and midi sound are great but the synth sounds are ordinary. the editor for samples is a bit confusing but other users say its OK. i would like some feedback on midi connections and use of other progs with Quartz in sync or just how things sound and work for you on this card.Later ,adams04@infonie.fr

Hi!

I have the Maxi Sound Pro, Quartz Audiomaster 2.0, 4 MB RAM, Cool Edit, Cubase VST, WaveLab, etc. This Soundcard works fine, but the synth-editor isnt so good. I´ve heard about some acitvities by guillemot to perform this editor. I´ve made some exeriences with AWAVE (loaded some AWE32 soundbanks, converted them back to WAV-files and loaded them into Maxi-bank). Its a bit uncomfortable, but it works.

Ciao

Clemens
