I have a little problem. I have an Esi-4000 sampler and I have it linked up to my puder via SCSI. The puter is running SoundForge. I have no problem sending and recieving samples, its just that I have the sampler set up to place samples on five keys only when I sample with it...but when I transmit a sample from the computer it automatically places the sample on the whole keyboard. This messes things up if I transmit a sample from the computer to the sampler when I already have a bank loaded on the sampler. The transmitted sample and all the samples that were loaded on the sampler now each take the full 128 keys. Hmmmmm.......anyone got any suggestions??

Sound like your problem is with SF. Will SF allow you to create a key range for your samples? If not, then you will have to do it from the ESI.
