I want to put a SCSI card on my PC. So I can use a cd writer and SCSI external drive that are available to me for free. Which one should I go for or which really cheap one could I get away with...most folk I know have Adaptecs at £120+ but I was hoping for something cheaper...

DONT USE CHEAP SCSI. WOULD U RATHER HAVE A GOOD CARD OR ERRORS ON YOUR PC!!

I would go for adaptec!
if u want a little cheaper go for SIIG.

Try to get a PCI card. not ISA, but it is fine if u don't have a PCI slot available.

I'll sell you an Adaptec 2920 PCI SCSI card for 55 squids if you want... I used to use it with my SCSI cd blower but don't need it now I've got EIDE. Even if you don't want mine, I'd certainly reccommend them, I had no trouble with it.
