The next-gen Apogee Duet-2 adds additional features and a redesigned full-colour metering system, as well as switching from the Firewire of the Duet mk-1 to USB 2.0 thus ensuring useability with all current mac laptops and desktop models.



The Duet 2 has a redesigned breakout cable cluster which comes with the unit (above), offering less connectors overall for less clutter by merging the XRL & 1/4" inputs into the same input plugs... The outputs are redesigned 1/4" barrels but now they are balanced, whereas on the old Mk-1 Duet they are un-balanced.

Additionaly the end-user can also purchase the accessory break-out box which connects to the breakout connector on the Duet-2 replacing the included cluster-cable.
