has anybody heard when eMagic is going to get off
their lazy asses and port SoundDiver to OS X?

it can't be like they don't have enough time on their
hands since they don't make PC products anymore...
and they're owned by Apple!

It seems like when they dropped PC support they
dropped a lot of other things too... like a clue. I've
already ditched LAP for digital performer 4....
unfortunate, but you gotta do what you gotta do. ive
ended up really tired of fighting with my programs all
the time, when it just turns out you have to approach it
from their mindset. not a good way to design a program.

I'm thinking SoundDiver and Logic will be merged into one program, too. Maybe it will be just like the Emagic plugins - It's built into Logic, but you have to buy a Registration keycode to unlock it. Probably, people that have registered their original copy of SoundDiver will get a free or discounted update. That would make a lot of sense.

Just speculation, but SD was a great piece of software.

Or, maybe Apple could even build it (or something similar) into the Coremidi setup of OS X itself for all audio apps to take advantage of?

Just an interesting thought...

that's what i'm fearing, that they combine it with logic. i
would be pissed if they decided to do that.
