Hi, I'm thinking of getting motu's soft sampler
Mach Five, but I like some of the features that
Kontakt has such as the time stretching, pitch
shifting, and sample slicing. I'm wondering
how these two samplers compare. Any
opinions? Thanks

I would wait until people tell you that it's stable and works as advertised. MOTU has some of the worst Windows programmers in history, so I'm doubting their ability to build a good VSTi.

Except that Mach5 is based on the UVI engine which seems stable on pc's in it's various incarnations. Motu licensed it but didn't code it. But still, buying pc software from motu is like buying crack off a cop. Today might be good but tomorrow...
