scared to share my tunes at 1st but u guys seem to to connect with my
vibe if ur saying stuff like that....well I don't really have any other
tracks that sound like that...that one is kinda different. Ummm I have
some older tracks I can prob mix down and upload later this week.
Actually I have a mix with me of a song I just started working on like a
week ago but it's not finshed. I guess I can upload a clip of that. I'm at
work so I don't have access to all of my tracks. So keep in mind that
this tack is still wide open. I have the base of it down and I still need to
do edits and maybe another lead, prob an alternate drum beat...ahhh
u'll see. I'll upload it in a few minutes. It will be under my [view_user]
The name of the song is 'halide' k..well hope u like this one as much as
the 1st...any suggestions would be great!!! thanks

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

one thing to be aware of here.... we can at once be a rather responsive and fickled audience...often at the same time.
take your time with your tracks and give them the full-measure of your depth and sense of self.
our needs to be admired and appreciated by others can take hold ferociously at times.... and urge us to rush the next mix (believe me). don't rush. take time to hear what the music is telling you.
i think most of us will be here for some time.... so relax and give us your best.
it's not like we're without music in our daily lives.

If you have a whole pile of tracks, you could start a topic 'Kapoks tracks' or something and just add links as and when you make em. would save battering the forum every couple of days with a new track ( sometimes annoys some people )

by the way mcc, I wasn't trying to steal ur thunder with ur release or 1
up u or anything. I'm def not looking for a pat on the back either (all
though it is nice sometimes) my whole purpose here is to share my
vibe with others (I'm usually very shy and I'm trying to break loose of
my shell, I've NEVER shared any of my music b4) and try and get some
suggestions on how I could make my music better. Where I live there
are not many people into electronic music so I have to go other places
(like DT) to get advice and suggestions from like minded people. I
won't be posting anything for a while so its all good. I've never really
been in a forum b4 so thanks for the tips and guidelines.

locked in my studio and listen to this loop a million times and then I
don't know up from down after a few hours of that. It's good to hear
others thoughts on it. I truly appreciate ur honesty and ur opinion.

...if this is your first complete track you've done with a
computer-sequencer...i'm gonna hate hearing tracks 3 through 20.
this is fabulous-sounding stuff.
first-of-all.... i just really love these snareless beats.
the sound is full and the music is imaginative without getting wierd on you.
the track goes a number of places and yet never feels like it's lost it's way or is changing modes just for the sake of it.
it feels a little like actual physical (metaphysical?) travel...and well....the craftsmanship is every bit up to the visison you've created.
very good work my man!!!.....

hope is that tracks 3-20 blow endbeautiful out of the water (as far as
production goes) as far as writing goes, I have only written one other
track that tops endbeautiful, and I didn't even write the whole song. It
was a 50/50 effort between myself and an "ex-friend" if u will. We had
a project called "Automata" and we only finished 1 out of 10 of the
sickest tracks I've ever laid hands on b4 the shit hit the fan (long
story)...It's a lot different sounding than endbeautiful though. It's at like
90 bpm and it's super ambient...really really deep stuff. Anyways if u'd
like to hear it I can up it to my page. If not then maybe another time.

these can be as tough as anything. hopefully you came away from it with something good you can apply towards future endeavors.
i look forward to hearing whatever you churn out...(hopefully at
a-not-too-frenzied-pace since it's so hard to keep up with people's work here at times...though i do try).
you'll overcome whatever production challenges you perceive you're facing.
