Red 5 Audio are the company marketting two new super-cheap but high-quality studio condenser mic's - This is the RV8 the cheaper of the two mic's Red5 offer bwecause it only has a cardoid pattern whereas the more expensive RV10 does figure of 8 too. - It appears these mic's are made under OEM manufacturing agreement with a Chinese company... This is nothing to worry about, the Chinese make some good gear & the spec's and praise this mic has been receiving seems excellent!!... Remember a few years back when the cheap Russian Mic's from Octava hot the western market?.. nothing could touch them at the price and they sold tons & tons... this is another mic like that - hi-end but cheaper manufacturing costs abroad...

The Price of £99 includes VAT. - The complete kit includes 1 RV8 Microphone, Shock-mount, lockable aluminium flight-case, foam wind-shield and spare Shock-mount elastic.
