S&C Develop SC 101

S&C Develop's 'SC 101' is one of my favourite VSTi's both because it sounds good, and it's fun to use and look at! (sad i agree!) - when you buy from SC Developments you get a bundled deal... 15 FX VST plugins and all their synths including SC-drums and SC-Virtual sampler, SC MonoPoly-16 & SC-101 - all for $40 bucks! - checkout their site...

The SC-101 is pretty close considering it's s/w to the ral thing notwithstanding you wont get trigger inputs etc - It's good for garage & hardhouse basslines, techno stuff, lead sounds, trance etc etc, not a chords synth tho really.. here's the SC101 spec's...

1 VCO (3 waveform: saw ,pulse (pwm),sub-oscillateur)

1 LFO (triangle,sqaure,random,noise)

1 VCF (resonant filter 24 dB/octave modulate by ENV,LFO,KBD)

1 VCA (ADSR)

Tune: tuning of the general frequency.

LFO Mod' : speed 0.1 30 Hz.

Waveform Mod': triangle,sqaure,random,noise.

VCO MOD: Level of the modulation of VCO.

VCO Range: 16' 8' 4' 2'.

VCO Pulse: width of pulse.

VCO PWM: modulation of the pulse width.

SOURCE MIXER: 5 source mixer: pulse, saw, suboscillater (1,2 octave sqr & 2 octave pulse), noise)

VCF Freq: Resonance frequency of filter.

VCF Res: Q of resonant Filter .

VCF ENV: Filter modulation by ENV (ADSR).

VCF MOD: Filter modulation by the LFO.

VCF KYBD: Filter modulation by the note.

VCA: choice of output envelope (ADSR or GATE).

ENV trig: Mode of the l' ADSR: trig on every note, trig' on note isolated, trig' on the LFO)

ENV ASDR: Attack, decay, sustain, release (1.5ms-4s, 2ms-10s, 0-100%, 2ms-10s)

Volume: level of the output.

Portamento: Portamento time.

Portamento select: ON,OFF et AUTO (on the note tied).

VCO:level of the vco variation by pitch bend.

VCF:level of the vcf variation by pitch bend.

MOD:level of the vco modulation by pitch bend.

A good little Synth, Polyphonic too!! - checkout their site - if you are a newbie on a budget their bundle deal is very good!
