This interface seriously rocks all ass. I run full logic audio setups @ with a 256k buffer and have yet to hear any of the ominous 'clicks of doom'.
8in 8 out, great midi implementation.
Previous versions were a bit dodgy, but mine works great.
Major savings over the RME multiface, and the multiface doesnt quite look as sexy.
Decent headphone amp too! Didn't think i'd be using it, but it's a major improvement over the one in my mixer.
Only issue is when i fuck up by adding a mono effect to a stereo track or something... the card emits this horrible 'buzz' and needs to be restarted.
Also has some issues with using two sound sources at once (ex: playing winamp while editing in sound forge)
All around, I'm very happy with my purchase. It more than meets my needs.

What ever happened to the extension that Echo offered with this system? I've been looking around and can't find it anywhere. You could link the extension with the Layla 24 and add extra inputs and outputs.

I inherited an Echo Layla 24 which looks exactly like the one in the picture above. Unfortunately, there was no cables or software with it. I really need the user's manual to learn more about it. Looks like something I could use to record Sunday services in a small church. Please help. Rich
