Boss SP202 Dr. Sample, 4 voices, 16 bit AD/DA Sampling Frequency up to 31,25 kHz, internal effects (Pitch Control, Filter, Time Stretch, Ring Modulator, Delay), built-in microphone.Any DJ, hip-hop producer or techno artist knows that it’s next to impossible to create phat, slammin’ tracks without a good sampler. I believe the manual can be downloaded at www.rolandus.com
The TAP button is used to "tap" to the beat of a sample or song to get the BPM (Beats Per Minute). It's an important thing if you want your samples and such to sync up.

Great sampler! I learned the way it works without even reading the manual. I was recording myself and making beats in under 5 minutes! You know how long it took me to master CubaseSX? I LOVE HARDWARE!!!

This sampler is VERY easy to use, ad very powerful, can be used live or used in the studio and triggered by PC to get that rhythmic thing that IS MISSING from DAW software. Hands on, groovy.
