IF you dont have money for soemthing serious and you wont some good studio mikser 1642 is realy nice toy.
16 channel mixer with 4 Subgroups and Stereo Output. Channels have XLR mic input, 1/4" phono Line Input, and 1/4" TRS Insert. Each channel: Gain, -20dB Pad, 3- Band EQ (2 Parametric), 3 Aux Sends (1 Pre- or Post- Fader), Pan, Solo, Overload Indicator, and 100mm Fader. Assignable to Subgroups 1-4 and Stereo Out. Master Section Has Subgroups 1-4 with Tape Monitor, Aux 3 Send, Pan, Solo, 1K Slate, and 100mm Faders. Subgroup and Tape Output on 1/4" phono plug. Stereo Outputs on XLR balanced and 1/4" unbalanced output jacks. Includes 3 Band EQ (shelved), Aux 1 & 2 Return with Pan and assignable to Subgroups 1-4 and Stereo Out, Phantom Power, Monitor Volume, and 100mm Faders. Monitor Output on 1/4" TRS at 8 Ohm & 600 Ohm. Meters with 6 LED Ladders for Subgroup 1-4, Stereo Out, and Solo.

If you are searching for great low budget studio mixer (between 500 and 2000$) Studiomaster 16-4-2 is great solution.You can buy it realy cheap on ebay because most of the people doesnt know how much this baby worth.

I have bought the Sudiomaster 16-4-2 in the early 90's and used it primarely for band rehearsals. Now I am lending this mixing desk to a friend and by chance I have found the original manual. I have scanned it so I can make it as PDF available. Please consider PDF size of approx. 25 MB.

Its is a very good type mixer,sadly,Its no combine with ECHO and EQUALISER,but also never mine,i can combine by myself..
