The V6 offers the best sound per dollar in a small, active near field monitor. Featuring separate amplifiers for the tweeter and woofer, an active crossover and standard video shielding, the V6 is the perfect costeffective active monitor solution for digital audio workstations. At the input stage, the V6 is capable of receiving balanced or an unbalanced signal. A Neutrik Combo connector gives it ultimate flexibility for use with 3 different connectors (XLR, 1/4"TRS, or 1/4” Instrument). Teamed up with the S10 powered subwoofer,five V6s are a great 5.1 surround sound mixdown solution.There seems to be 2 versions of the V6. The one with the yellow driver above which was added to the site in early 2002, and a 2003 version which has the black Polyvinyl main driver. I'm confused as to which order they come in because the yellow speaker'd model pictured at the head of this page appears to be a V-Series 2 model with the led indicators - If anyone can clear this up please add your comments to this page via the comment form.

I bought my krk V6 V-series model 1 back in 2000 and this is the very first V6
model made in US. It has the black poly vinyl main driver. The yellow version 2
series was realeased later and I believe this version was made in China. The
first model of the V6 series is more linear and have more accurate sound at
least in mine opinion. The Series V2 has a more tweaked crisp treble sound
that not seem natural to me. Its just to much of it. My krk v6 is still going strong
sounding as good as before and I will never sell them as I use them as studio
monitors.
