KRK 7000B
Now in its second generation, the 7000B offers improved frequency response and lower distortion. The 7000B's use Kevlar tweeters and woofers for extremely quick response without unnecessarily moving excess air, thus eliminating disfigured sound reproductions. To further enhance the 7000B's accuracy, its cabinet features a phase alignment design. Because high frequencies travel faster, the low frequency driver is placed closer to the listener. The result is the low and high frequencies reaching the listener at the same time. Due to the larger woofer and enclosure, the bass response extends lower than the 6000. High frequencies do not travel faster than low frequencies. The reason the tweeter is placed further back from the woofer is because the drivers are physically aligned.
