This little synth is a bit limiting due to the archetecture but the sound quality is excellent. Ive been using it for around 4 years now and still love the sound. The filter is real precise and the self ocillation ripps.
Makes an excellent expander to the MS20.

A nice little beast. Though limited soundwise, because it only have one oscillator (i said go for the bigger MS-20 or MS-50). The filter is traditional, but have a very unique, rough sound.

The external input has a brill preamp which overdrives like no other Ive heard. If you looking for a mono this thing is very nice indeed. the flat panel looks pretty trick too.

My MS10 was the first non guitar instrument I bought and it taught me so much. My MS10 was originally owned by Ged Grimes (formerly of the successful mid 80's UK band Danny Wilson) who sold it to me when they were first signed up and he upgraded to newer gear. Sadly I've lost the original manual that had many of their early settings written at the back.
To me the beauty of old synths is that their sounds are only limited by your imagination. I played my MS10 constantly for years and wrote many pieces on it. Recently I have reverted more to guitar and bass playing and writing and sadly my MS10 has become a talking piece and ornament rather than being used regularly. An old band mate of mine did use it last year for some electronic recordings he was doing.
If anyone out there would like to buy my MS10 I am open to offers via email to fox2909@aol.com
It will be hard to part with after all these years but I would rather someone was actually using it again as I don't think I will go back to recrding electronic music again.

I bought my MS-10 when it first came out in 1978. It has been in my arsenal the entire time, except for a
few years in cold storage. It's back out, and sounds as good as the day I bought it.
For a single osc synth, it is just killer to use live, as it is so freely adjustable to tweak and fiddle with the
knobs on the fly.
For some searing leads where I want to get really crazy, I use it over my Virus Ti.
30 years old and still kicking! Gotta love those old MS synths!!
